Fasting for Health

It's almost fall and for me another fail at losing weight, getting healthier and feeling healthier. I've tried all kinds of diet plans and I'm just about to throw in the towel when I read about Fasting. Today will be day 3 of fasting and I feel much better than the days before.
My window to eat is from 3 pm to 8 pm (5 hours) and fast for 19 hours. I do have a cup of coffee in the morning with a small amount of milk but that's all.
Nausea was a big problem for me yesterday and I think it was because I was drinking too much water. Today I consumed water lightly, a few sips here and there and I feel so much better.

My New Love!!!!!!

California Grille on Harvest Bread
This is my new love. After church services I had lunch at Corner Bakery and fell in love with the California Grille on Harvest Bread, also had the Spinach Sweet Crisp Sandwich and it was pretty good.
Staying away from meat as much as possible but I know some things I eat has animal products like the cheese is made from animal products. I just make sure the cheese is organic. Very happy I we have a Whole Foods in our area so that makes buying organics much easier.

Rain, Rain, I love you but too much!

We have received so much rain that it's scary to drive at times. I love the rain and welcome it most of the time but wishing it will go away soon.
Traveling back and forth to the hospital which is 60 miles away from my home in the rain is not fun....hope the weather will get better by tomorrow.
Okay my eating plan is getting better and I'm staying on track... could be better but I won't complain.

Times a wasting!

I know time is wasting away and I've done poorly on getting healthy. I thought last year was stressful......this year is getting that way too. I cannot let the stress of life hold me back from my goals. I need to shrink!!!!!
Mama is still very ill and have good and bad days. Doctors visits, hospital stays, work, and all the caregivers daily tasks sometimes get very me in a mood I don't want to be in.
Staying positive and beginning to meditate is on my agenda to help me through this.

Starting Over

The New year is just around the corner and I will be starting Anew. I am preparing myself mentally for this journal. I don't need to prepare by buying more weight loss books, workout DVD's or equipment, I have everything I need here in my home.
I need to prepare myself mentally for this journey. Last year this time I said I would give myself a year on WW's but I got side tracked by so many things. I can lay the blame on many things but ultimately I can only blame myself.
Renewing my mind this coming new year is my goal......renewing the way I look at food and how I react to it.

From Wednesday to today I've been waayy...... off plan. Ready for a fresh start tomorrow. Spent the day with my mom and has been ill but had a great day today.

Chipping the pounds off!

With the stress I've had this week I still managed to chip a half pound off. I learning to live in the moment and to stop worrying about the past or future. Positive thinking is what I'm doing to keep myself in check.

Loving this time of year. Here where I live we get very little snow but you never know when  we might get some, I would love to have a nice blanket of snow but rather not because folks around here ca't drive in the stuff LOL. My Christmas tree is up, other decorations and around the house....no presents under the tree because I just have not had time to shop......or the mind.

Stating my affirmation daily and staying positive, loving life, being in the present, letting go of my Ego, saying no and putting my inner child in her place lol, meditating and sending up my prayers and supplications are things I try to do on a daily basis.
